Laura Achie

Laura Achie, fondly known as Your Radio Bestie, is a warm, quick-witted presence at Base 101.1 FM.

A graduate of History and International Studies from Delta State University, Laura found her way to radio recently — and in a short time, she’s built a fast, natural connection with listeners. She hosts Base Café (Wednesdays & Fridays, 10AM–2PM) with Faith Mgbelim, and also brings her energy to Base Kids Club on Saturdays and Happy Hour on Sundays.

Laura’s mission is simple: make every listener feel like they’re catching up with their bestie, not tuning into a broadcast.
