OMATSEYE ATSENUWA: THE QUINTESSENTIAL BROADCASTER.

Omatseye Atsenuwa is a versatile broadcast journalist trained at Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN(now Nigeria Broadcast Academy), and the International Institute of Journalism, IIJ, Abuja. Omassssss,MIM, as he is fondly called has worked on Radio and Television spanning the last fifteen years as presenter, news anchor and reporter. He holds a professional award as the 'Educative Upcoming Reporter, 2008' (NUJ Ekiti Chapter), 'Most Articulate 2005' Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Abuja. This Delta born broadcaster has a unique ability to hold conversations on any subject that could keep listeners/viewers wanting more in local and international news, culture, history and literature. He literally breathes and talks the news on and off the microphone with the eloquence and brilliance of thorough-bred broadcaster.

His career which started off as a 'presenter' has since morphed into reporting and heading news desks from Delta to Lagos. He joined Base 101.1 as the pioneer Head of News and newscaster in December 2024.

Atsenuwa is a 'walking newsroom' with cerebral gift, witty, an insatiable taste for Jazz Music. He enjoys reading, local and foreign travels
